INNOVA Sports Meet 2015

Our Institution is firm believer in the Quote – ‘A Healthy Mind lives in a Healthy Body’ and nothing emphasizes this more than the Annual Sports Meet conducted by Apex Group of Colleges, Jaipur. The Engineering Students who always remain involve in Numeric Equations, Computer Codes & Practicals showed the True Sportsmanship at INNOVA Sports Meet2015 .

The Sports Meet  was conducted on 26th - 28th February 2015. The initial day began enthusiastically with a welcome speech by Dr. O.P. Chhangani, Director General, Apex Group of Institutions. The event was followed by flag hoisting by Chairman Dr. S. M. Juniwal who declared the sports meet open. The ground looked awesome with march-past by the Students of AIET & AGI, the dignitaries took the salute from march-past students, which was followed by oath taking ceremony by athletes. To enliven the sports event, the Olympic torch was taken up by the students.

In this Three Days Event, various sports & athletic competitions were held. The sports tournaments included Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Carom while Athletic events comprised of 100m race (Boys & Girls), 200 m race (Boys & Girls), 500m Race(Boys & Girls), Long Jump (Boys), Shot Put (Boys) & (Girls), Relay Race etc. As the students’ wild cheers rent the air, the athletes, with grit and determination, raced to achieve victory and glory for their respective houses. There was a close competition between the houses to win the first place. 

Some other Events like Treasure Hunt, Hide & Seek etc were also organized for the Enjoyment of Students. The students remembered their old Days as many street Games were also played. On the Last Day of Event, Certificates were given to the winner and runner ups. Appreciation Certificates were also Distributed among Participants & Volunteers.

UDAAN , the Fresher’s party for the First Years students of B. Tech was organized on 15^th November, 2014 at Apex Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jaipur . Director General of Apex Group, Dr.O.P. Chhangani Sir  initiated the program by lighting the lamp. In his speech, he explained students the importance of four years in their career Life. 

After that various cultural programs were performed, Fashion Shows on different themes like Zodiac Sign, Angels & Demons were presented before the audience. Audience enjoyed the program and also encouraged the participants. Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher’s were announced at Last. Prizes were distributed to the winners.

Apex Group routinely conducts industrial visits as a part of its curriculum.The Industrial visits contribute to the achievement of various essential Learnings & Exposure to Corporate World. Students of B. Tech Mechanical VII& V Sem, went on a day Industrial Visit to RIDDHI SIDDHI INDUSTRIES PVT. LTD,RIICO Industrial area,Sitapura,Jaipur on Saturday 10^thAugust2013.During The visiting students got the chance to learn the process involved in Manufacturing  of Copper and Aluminum wires & Cables.

MODERN MACHINE SHOP 2013

Students of B.Tech Mechanical VII Sem, visited “MODERN MACHINE SHOP 2013, an International Exhibition of Manufacturing Technology and Production Equipments at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.MMS -2013 was organized by the Indian machine tools manufacturers Association. The exhibition was designed to support and shows case the kaleidoscopic trajectory of the Engineering Industry with the latest Innovation and Technology.

DOGMA SOFT PVT.  LTD.

Students of B. Tech,CSE,5^th Sem went on a one day Industrial visit to DOGMA SOFT PVT. LTD in Malviya Nagar Jaipur, During the visit students got the opportunity to see the live demo on domain & web hosting. Students also interacted with many Software developers. 

ULTRATECH CEMENT

Students of B.Tech (ME, V & VII Sem) went on a one day Industrial Visit on 31^st August 2013. Students visited ULTRATECH CEMENT LTD.,Sitapura Industrial area, Jaipur. During the plant visit students learn about the latest process involved in  Ultratech concrete ready-mix Preparation.

B.K. ENGINEERING WORKSHOP

Students of B.Tech (ME,V Sem) went  to B.K. ENGINEERING WORKSHOP,Sitapura Jaipur, During the visit  students learn about various The machines involved in Manufacturing Flour Mill and making jobs on the lathe Machines.

CIPET , SITAPURA

Students of B.Tech,ME,5th Sem went to CENTRAL INSTITUTE OF PLASTIC ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY in  SITAPURA on Friday 13^th Sep 2013.Students got knowledge about latest facilities available in the area of design, CAD/CAM/CAE, tooling, mould manufacturing and plastic processing.

SILVERGRACE POLYPACKS LTD

Students of B. Tech, ME, 3rd Sem, went on a day Industrial visit on Friday 13^thSept2013.Students visited SILVERGRACE POLYPACKS LTD. Sitapura, during the visit here students got the opportunity to learn about the MANUFACTURER, SUPPLIER AND EXPORTER of PP Woven Bags, PP Woven Fabric, Cement Bags, fertilizer bags, Mineral bags etc.

SUN STAR INDUSTRIES PVT. LTD

Students of B.Tech, ECE 3rd Sem, visited SUN STAR INDUSTRIES PVT. LTD, SITAPURA during the visit, students were acquainted with the Manufacturing: Single Phase and 3 Phase Electronic Energy Meters etc.

Industrial Visit by AIET, EE students

Industrial visit in Engineering Curriculum  is considered as one of the most tactical methods of teaching. It provides students with an opportunity to learn practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices.

Students of AIET,IV Yr B.Tech.(Electrical Engineering) visited 132 kV Grid Sub Station (G.S.S.), Sitapura Industrial Area, Jaipur on a one day Industrial Visit on Saturday, 31 August 2013.

Students got the practical knowledge of various protective equipments installed in Yard like Bus Bars, Lightning Arresters, various types of relays, different types of Circuit Breakers, Wave-Trap, C.T., P.T., Insulators & Isolators etc. Power Transformers is the heart of a Yard which is installed in the GSS, students also got the knowledge of Transformer, conducting wires & Ground Wire.  

Students visited Yard and visualize each and every part of the Yard, Control Room, PLCC Room & Battery Room. During  this Visit students got the knowledge of how power is received & then it is distributed in different regions connected to that G.S.S. They learn about various control panels & their operating mechanism. They learn about the different types of faults that can occur in a system & how can we protect our system from fault without interruption of supply. 

This visit is very important for the students of Final Year Electrical Engineering as Power System is the biggest part of the syllabus of Electrical Engineering and G.S.S. is the best place to understand almost whole Power System.
