College of Fashion & Design offers three Bachelors and PHD program in the Academic year 2019-20. The curriculum of the programs is designed with design pedagogy which brings Industry-University in collaboration for the design education. The laboratories are well equipped with Industrial machines, computers with fashion softwares, trend & forecast site- WGSN as very well equipped library for Fashion & Design.
In the final year of their education, students have their graduating collection (Portfolio) which is showcased in a very grand manner to give platform to the budding designers; this gives them individual identity in the fashion domain.
Apex University believes in holistic development of students by giving them internship with leading brands, export houses, design houses and leading Fashion & Interior Designers to help them achieve landmarks in their future careers. All of Bachelors and PHD Programs follow University Grants Commission (UGC) norms and meet their requirements.
B.Des. (Fashion Design)
Four-Year Degree Program (Eight Semesters)

Fashion Design –The students acquire skills in the realms of apparel construction techniques, flat pattern design, material exploration, draping, textile study, fashion illustration and portfolio development. We keep them abreast of newfangled trends related to fabrics, trims, designs, colors, styles and cuts, thus creating an astute sense of color, texture and pattern along with a keen eye for observation in fashion-related sphere.
In the first year of the program, College encourages an exploratory approach, giving the student design foundation courses, in a critically creative environment to begin defining their own creative practice. The second and third year of the curriculum mainly concentrate on the core modules of Men’s, Women’s and Children’s Wear and related modules.
This is followed by in-plant training in the seventh semester which gives the students opportunity to work in real-life situation applying what they have learnt in the previous three years. The students then return with rich practical industry experiences to work on their graduating collection in the eighth semester.
B. Des. (Fashion & Life Style Accessory Design)
Four-Year Degree Program (Eight Semesters)
Fashion is aspiring designs for lifestyle from tooth-brush to all accessories that you use in your everyday life come and learn at B. Des. (Fashion & Life Style Accessory Design)
This Course focuses on design methodology, fashion trends and forecast interpretations, business practices and project management. This program consists of first Year (Two semesters) of Design Foundation and Exploration with different types of materials soft, hard, wood, metal etc.
Elements and Principles of Design, Color Study, Drawing and Computer skills. Third to Sixth semester includes textiles and craft study, business acumen for futuristic approach in product development, research and innovation projects which enhances the creative ability of students.
In Seventh Semester they are sent for In-plant training where they are exposed to real life challenges and their classroom learning comes handy to them for design solutions. In the eighth and final Semester they work on their Design Projects which could be Industry sponsored or hypothetical.
B. Des. (Interior Design)
Four Year Degree Program (Eight Semesters)
Design is all around, have great surroundings and visual presentation enable yourself with aesthetic abilities join B. Des (Interior Design)
The curriculum lays basic foundation of aesthetic ability, design sensibility, material knowledge and drawing & coloring skill development. Followed by training for building structures/ materials, space planning, environmental studies, sustainability, health and safety issues, software applications for 2-D & 3-D CAD (Computer-aided design), Model making skills and case-studies.
Final year’s 7th semester for Internship with professionals/ firms/ architects and 8th semester focused on projects like residential, commercial, institutional, retail and industrial design.
