INNOVA Sports Meet 2015

Our Institution is firm believer in the Quote – ‘A Healthy Mind lives in a Healthy Body’ and nothing emphasizes this more than the Annual Sports Meet conducted by Apex Group of Colleges, Jaipur. The Engineering Students who always remain involve in Numeric Equations, Computer Codes & Practicals showed the True Sportsmanship at INNOVA Sports Meet2015 .

The Sports Meet  was conducted on 26th - 28th February 2015. The initial day began enthusiastically with a welcome speech by Dr. O.P. Chhangani, Director General, Apex Group of Institutions. The event was followed by flag hoisting by Chairman Dr. S. M. Juniwal who declared the sports meet open. The ground looked awesome with march-past by the Students of AIET & AGI, the dignitaries took the salute from march-past students, which was followed by oath taking ceremony by athletes. To enliven the sports event, the Olympic torch was taken up by the students.

In this Three Days Event, various sports & athletic competitions were held. The sports tournaments included Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Carom while Athletic events comprised of 100m race (Boys & Girls), 200 m race (Boys & Girls), 500m Race(Boys & Girls), Long Jump (Boys), Shot Put (Boys) & (Girls), Relay Race etc. As the students’ wild cheers rent the air, the athletes, with grit and determination, raced to achieve victory and glory for their respective houses. There was a close competition between the houses to win the first place. 

Some other Events like Treasure Hunt, Hide & Seek etc were also organized for the Enjoyment of Students. The students remembered their old Days as many street Games were also played. On the Last Day of Event, Certificates were given to the winner and runner ups. Appreciation Certificates were also Distributed among Participants & Volunteers.

UDAAN , the Fresher’s party for the First Years students of B. Tech was organized on 15^th November, 2014 at Apex Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jaipur . Director General of Apex Group, Dr.O.P. Chhangani Sir  initiated the program by lighting the lamp. In his speech, he explained students the importance of four years in their career Life. 

After that various cultural programs were performed, Fashion Shows on different themes like Zodiac Sign, Angels & Demons were presented before the audience. Audience enjoyed the program and also encouraged the participants. Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher’s were announced at Last. Prizes were distributed to the winners.

Rich Internet Applications

Rich Internet Applications (RIA) are Web-based applications that have some characteristics of graphical desktop applications typically run with plug-ins, Site Specific Browsers etc. The plug-in provides library routines for rich graphics support as well as a container that limits access to local resources for security purposes. RIAs have the ability to run more extensive and complex client-side code than possible in a normal Web application, thus providing the opportunity to reduce the load on the Web server.

Adobe Flash, JavaFX and Microsoft Silverlight are currently the three most common Rich Internet Application  platforms. These Internet Applications work on Smartphones, Smartbooks, Tablets, Netbooks and PC.

Students are using rich application development platforms to make their web projects more responsive, interactive and easier to access on web.  With modern tools, they can create complex application screens using a variety of mixed media such as multiple fonts, bit-map and vector graphic files, animations, online conferencing, audio and video. Java Script,  AJAX, Microsoft Silverlight, JSON etc are powerful tools for application development .

From software development perspective RIA follows a standard software development model with rich controls that include powerful data and multimedia capability to present a rich set of information. From design perspective, RIA delivers highly customizable output with a CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) based model

Rich Internet applications (RIAs) offer a rich, engaging experience that improves user satisfaction and increases productivity. Using the broad reach of the Internet, RIAs can be deployed across browsers , desktops and make the internet access easier.

Today youth are more focused and selective in seeking a good job that leads to a successful and a satisfying career. One that not only give you a busy and rich life but also fun and relax. There are so many career options one of them is PSU (Public Sector Undertakings). It can give an opportunity to meet the ambitions of coming generation.

Students must first decide their aim whether they want to opt a public sector job or a private sector job. For those students who have a keen interest in public sector jobs can go for this best choice.

Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) is termed as a government-owned organization. On the other hand it refers to economic and social activities undertaken by public authorities. The enterprises in public sector are set up with the main aim of protecting public interest. There are so many organizations that are under PSU’s. It depends upon your interest in which field you want to go. One of the greatest advantage is that final year student can also go for this.

For this you have to appear in three stages:

a)      Written Examination

The syllabus of these exams is subset of GATE examination so all students should study well their core subjects and keep checking the sites of PSU for latest updates.

M.TECH in Structural Engineering

Structural engineering is a field of engineering that deals with the analysis and design of structures. Structural engineering is a specialty within civil engineering. M.Tech (Structural Engineering) stands for Master of Technology in Structural Engineering. It is a two year course.

M.Tech in structural engineering, branch of civil engineering covers Building Drawing and Laboratory classes in testing of materials which help the student to understand Structural Engineering in a practical way.

Apex Group of Institutions, Jaipur offers M.Tech in structural engineering. The course has aim to provide­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ Engineering graduates with the advanced conceptual understanding, detailed factual knowledge and special technical skills.
