There are so many career options one of them is PSU (Public Sector Undertakings). It can give an opportunity to meet the ambitions of coming generation.

Students must first decide their aim whether they want to opt a public sector job or a private sector job. For those students who have a keen interest in public sector jobs can go for this best choice.

Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) is termed as a government-owned organization. On the other hand it refers to economic and social activities undertaken by public authorities. The enterprises in public sector are set up with the main aim of protecting public interest. There are so many organizations that are under PSU’s. It depends upon your interest in which field you want to go. One of the greatest advantage is that final year student can also go for this.

For this you have to appear in three stages:

a)      Written Examination

b)      Interview and GD

c)       Medical Examination

Apart from this each organization is having its own different selection Criteria’s like from GATE score card, B.Tech % or depends on the experience skills also.

The syllabus of these exams is subset of GATE examination so all students should study well their core subjects and keep checking the sites of PSU for latest updates.  

GATE 2013-POINTS TO REMEMBER

The countdown has begun and the time has arrived to start last time Preparation. Only few days left and GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam will be conducted all over the country. Online Examination will be on 20th January 2013 and Offline Battle will be on 10^th February 2013.  

GATE exam, conducted Once in a year, plays a vital role for those undergraduate and graduate candidates (in Engineering and Technology), who want to pursue their Masters or have a dream to join PSU’s (Public Sector Undertakings)

GATE, tests a comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and technology. In all the papers, there will be a total of 65 questions carrying 100 marks, out of which 10 questions carrying 15 marks in General Aptitude are compulsory .

The best you can do at this time is revision, the more you revise, more benefits you will find in exam. Self made notes can be more effective for revision. Solve previous year’s paper, this will not only increase your speed but also help you to find short tricks and hidden logics. Maintain list of formulas and  revise them again and again, this will help you to save time in examination.

Stress is a very natural feeling that follow you at every step, But make sure, stress does not have to take over you. Be calm, and confident. Eat Healthy because if your body works well, Your Mind works as well. Take small breaks from your study to get your mind relaxed.
